According to the Global Wellness Institute, wellness is the active pursuit of activities, choices and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health. Many studies have shown, when someone is well, becoming resilient is more doable. Mental health and physical wellbeing are often linked and are frequently reliant on each to other to achieve a general state of wellbeing. For this reason, the Colorado Resilient-Life Center has included optimum wellness modalities within its program initiative.
As a growing organization, CORLC’s whole-community approach include wellness programs such as:
-Exercise and Stretch Classes
-Nature Walks
-Spiritual and Christian Meditation
-Mindfulness
Mindfulness as a basic centering construct
Mindfulness as Holy Noticing
-Body and Soul Care
-Journaling
-Setting Intentions
-Supportive Care Groups
-And more
